Welcome We encourage you to visit the pages of this website to answer your questions about the City of Riggins, learn about its history, services available, and find out some of the great things to do in our community.
Coming Soon….RIGGINS COMMUNITY CENTER!
The City recently accepted ownership of the Riggins IOOF Lodge Hall, and are now in the process of pursuing grant applications for its renovation. The building desperately needs handicap access as well as upgrades to the electrical and plumbing systems. Local contractors are reviewing electrical and plumbing, and Slichter Architects are in the process of assessing the building for structural needs, ADA and environmental compliance. Their findings will be presented at a public meeting scheduled for 6:00pm Monday, December 12th in the City Hall Council Chambers.
We want to make the building a true Community Center for Riggins, and want your input as to the building needs and it’s future use. Please plan to attend this public meeting and let us hear your ideas about the building renovations, upgrades needed and it’s potential future use.
What great things do you see for the new and improved Riggins Community Center?
